Due to an upcoming vacancy on the Wenatchee City Council, the City is seeking applications from residents who are interested in serving on the Wenatchee City Council to fill an unexpired “at-large” position, with a term ending December 31, 2025. To hold office, a person must be a registered voter of the City of Wenatchee at the time of filing their application, and must be a resident of the City of Wenatchee for at least one year prior to appointment.

Interested applications are invited to attend an Open House “Meet & Greet” on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Wenatchee City Hall. Current City of Wenatchee Councilmembers will be in attendance to answer questions, provide information on city services, and other information for those interested in submitting an application for consideration.

Candidate interviews will occur at a regular City Council meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2025, with swearing-in of the newly appointed Councilmember on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
