She has a long history of volunteering for local festivals and non-profits including the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, Numerica Performing Arts Center, Wenatchee Valley College Foundation, and Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center, just to name a few. Chelsea is married and has two daughters who she strives to be a strong female role model for. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, paddle boarding, golfing, and camping with her family! (509) 679-3625 Charlie and his wife Brenda have lived in Wenatchee since 1992 although Charlie’s roots in Wenatchee extend back to the early 1900’s when his great great grandparents came west. Charlie and Brenda have two married adult sons and three grandchildren and are privileged to call Wenatchee home. A graduate of Biola College, Charlie grew up just south of San Francisco. After college he worked as a teacher and coach in Portland, Oregon before joining the staff of Young Life, a Christian youth organization. Moving to Wenatchee in 1992, Charlie became the controller of an orchard/vineyard operation. He continues in the fruit industry in a part time role although he looks forward to retirement in the not-too-distant future. Charlie visited Wenatchee often throughout his childhood and so it was a pleasant surprise to end up living most of his adult life here. Charlie now looks forward to serving the residents of Wenatchee as a member of the City Council. He believes that good things don’t just happen and that we must steward well the blessings and opportunities afforded us in this beautiful place. Charlie is active in his local church, has served as a volunteer with Young Life, coached youth baseball, and is currently a mentor in the Wenatchee High School College Mentor Program. In the winter, he can often be found on some type of ski, enjoying the wonders of the season. |

At-Large "A" Linda has been a resident of the Wenatchee Valley since 1979, where she met her husband David and raised their two children, John and Jason. Linda and David have five grandchildren with whom they spend much of their time. Linda enjoys camping, hiking, reading and photographing. Wenatchee has remained home for them because they love the many recreational activities available and the sense of volunteering and hospitality that Wenatchee embodies. Linda attended Spokane Falls Community College and Wenatchee Valley College studying business. Since 1986, she has worked in the hospitality industry and for the past twelve years, she has had the privilege of serving as Sales Director at the Wenatchee Convention Center. Her love for tourism and the benefits it brings to our community is the reason for her interest in serving as a Councilmember in the Wenatchee City Council. Tourism is our second largest industry and Linda believes it is a key component in solving many of our current economic problems. Linda currently serves her community in the following organizations: Wenatchee Central Lions, former President, board member; Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, board member; Wenatchee Applarians, member of the round table; Washington Executive Society, former board member and associate member of the year. Linda's concerns about the City of Wenatchee include resolving outstanding debt with Town Toyota Center, economic development, Riverside Drive development, promoting and expanding our tourism base, maintaining our quality of life and safety in Wenatchee. As a longtime resident of Wenatchee, she is excited to serve her community in the Wenatchee City Council.

At-Large "B" Keith’s main goal is to reach out to the citizens of Wenatchee for their input. “The tax payers of Wenatchee deserve a voice in how their money is spent. My desire is to be one of those voices for the citizens of Wenatchee. I encourage all citizens of Wenatchee to get involved in the future of our great city! I’m looking forward to hearing from all of you.” Keith also feels he can be a great asset in helping the city of Wenatchee get back to a position of financially stability, while continuing to provide ample safety and city appeal. He believes the city of Wenatchee is going to need to live conservatively for the next few years to recover from the current state of the economy and financial position Wenatchee is currently in. “These are tough financial times not only for the citizens of Wenatchee, but all of Washington state and America. Tough choices need to be made now for the future of Wenatchee, our children and generations to come.” Keith and his wife Robin have raised 6 children in the Wenatchee valley and now have 16 grandchildren. Robin was born and raised here and enjoys all the Wenatchee valley has to offer. She recently retired from a long career in the dental field and currently enjoys working at the Gilded Lily. In their free time, they are members of the Wenatchee Row and Paddle club, love to walk and bike on our many trails, gardening, camping, reading, frisbee golf and attending their grandchildren’s many activities. |
