Alley Dust Control Project

The City of Wenatchee Public Works Department is planning to apply a dust control agent to the alleys throughout the City.  We will be using a product known as LINGO Road Binder.  You can find more information below.

The planned date of this product application is: June 4 and 5, 2024

LINGO Road Binder product information:

  • Made of sucrose (sugar composed of glucose and fructose), plant fiber and aquatic solutions
    • LINGO binds the soil particles together and is hygroscopic, which means these bound particles attract moisture to the road surface
    • To learn more about the product please visit their website, lynmandustcontrol.com/lingo-road-binder
  • Safe for humans, animals and plants.
  • Easily washed off with water if a splash or splatter occurs.
  • Vehicles can drive on it immediately after application, but please drive slowly for the first 24 hours after the application.
  • If you have vehicles parked in the alley or other items located in the alley way, please remove them for these two weeks (or check the website on the link address above for a more accurate date).

If you have any questions or concerns, please call our Public Works main line, 509-888-3200
