POLICE OFFICE RECRUITMENT

ENTRY-LEVEL POLICE OFFICER

Note your interest in the Wenatchee Police Department and passing scores will be sent to our Civil Service Commission for further processing. LATERAL POLICE OFFICER
The recruitment for lateral Police Officer is continuously open to form a register of eligible candidates. For inquiries, contact Sergeant Hahn at (509) 888-4205 or nhahn@wenatcheewa.gov. To apply, complete the Lateral Police Officer Application and email (with copies of required certifications) to Sergeant Hahn.

Recruitment and selection for the City of Wenatchee Police Department is conducted according to Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The Civil Service System implemented by these rules substantially accomplishes the purpose of Chapter 41.12 of the RCW. The Civil Service Commission fulfills the Civil Service function by managing the hiring process for Civil Service positions. The Civil Service Commission coordinates interviews and certifies the final eligibility list. Pursuant to RCW 41.04.005 and RCW 41.04.010 special credit will be added to passing scores of qualified veterans on open examinations, when applicable.
