Home MenuCode Enforcement
Code Enforcement ensures that violations of the Wenatchee City Code affecting the health, safety and welfare of the community are brought into compliance by the responsible party.
To submit a code violation, please use the Report an Issue online system.
Public Nuisance Code (WCC.6A.14)
Public nuisances include inoperable/junk vehicles, debris, rubbish, garbage, overgrown vegetation, etc. on private and public land. Vegetation and landscaping are part of what makes Wenatchee a beautiful place. The vegetation brochures have been provided to all City of Wenatchee property owners to encourage voluntary compliance by outlining code requirements. Click here to get a copy.
Thank you to everyone for taking pride in keeping Wenatchee nuisance free and looking great!
Zoning Code (WCC Title 10)
Zoning violations commonly concern permitted, conditional and accessory uses, accessory structures, setbacks, required off-street parking, fencing and signs.
Substandard Housing (WCC.2.04)
Substandard housing includes housing that does not meet minimum health and safety standards such as lack of water, smoke alarms, power or sewer, has broken windows, faulty weather protection, etc. Resources related to substandard housing:
- Northwest Justice: Landlord/tenant rights publications
- Access Washington: Landlord and Tenant Rights Chapter 59.18
Through partnerships, we are able to target important issues in our community including low-income housing, ending homelessness, community and economic development and improving neighborhood environments.
