Each year, the City of Wenatchee honors individuals, groups or organizations for their civil and social contributions to our community at the annual Uplift Awards. The Uplift Awards recognize individuals, groups or organizations in the Wenatchee Valley that are making significant contributions to the work of protecting civil rights, promoting social justice or advancing diversity, equity and inclusion.
Nominations Open!
Nominations are accepted by the City of Wenatchee year-round and honorees are presented with the award at the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Multicultural Festival hosted by the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center.
Nominations for work completed in 2024 are due by November 8, 2024.
