As a property owner in the Grandview Historic District a Certificate of Appropriateness may be required prior to starting a project on your home. There are three levels of review for proposed project actions including pre-approved actions, actions subject to historic preservation staff approval, and actions subject to Historic Preservation Board approval. Reviews are conducted at no cost to the property owner. Please contact the Department of Community Development at (509) 888-3200 prior to starting a project for assistance. The various review processes are outline in the Wenatchee City Code (WCC) Section 10.40.060.
Design Standards

The Grandview Historic District design standards are to be used in the design and review of new construction, renovations and building additions for those properties located within the Grandview Historic District. These standards including guidance and options are presented in the Grandview Historic Preservation Handbook.
