Why is the City doing this Project?

The Parkside Place property is a City owned property located at 1230 Monitor St. The property was intended to be a Regional Support Network (RSN) for behavioral health resources.

Parkside Place is serving as a resource for housing and behavioral health treatment. The City pursued and was awarded grant funding from the Department of Commerce to make repairs and resolve maintenance issues throughout the site.

What will the project include?

The project addresses a long list of exterior repairs which include removal and replacement of failing concrete, asphalt, retaining walls, fencing and roofing. Repairs will also be made to the irrigation system and landscaping along with exterior items such as exterior siding, fascia, soffit, and brick work. The project will include installing surface and roof water retention system on site. We will also evaluate and update the attic ventilation system to prevent moisture.

What to expect?

This project will kick off Spring 2023.  We do not anticipate any road closures, power outages or water shut offs.
